Pilobolus Mission

All sectors of the company are bound by this mission: to create and sustain an arts organization dedicated to the choreography and performance of dance-theater works at the highest level of imagination and energy and to use our organization and creative methodology to stimulate, educate and expand the audience for dance through innovation, collaboration and public service.

Pilobolus is a tax-exempt, not-for-profit corporation, supported in part by funds from the Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism, by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts which believes that a great nation deserves great art, and by grants from Altria Group, Inc., The Beyer Foundation, The J.
